It's February and a little over a month has passed since we all said "New Year, New Me!" It's also about that time where we're tempted to fall back into old patterns of last year. To be honest, I fell off of my good habits from last year. I was working out consistently until 2017. Like, who does that?!
BUT, January was a test run and I'm back with a vengeance. Mostly because I just found out I'm running a 10 mile race in April. (Add me to your prayer list!)
Which brings me to the topic at hand: faith.
Not just regular faith, but extraordinary faith, which is one of my personal themes of this year. I'm expecting God to do miraculous things this year. I'm expecting to have opportunities that I didn't seek, doors open that didn't exist, and to witness undeniable miracles in my life and those around me. (You can totally join me on the journey.)
Pretty big goal huh? But guess what? Followers of Christ serve a BIG God who has access to literally, everything. The reason that we don't experience the fullness of life is because our faith is lacking.
The good news is that God speaks clearly and often. He even speaks to me through Super Bowl games. :) I have a short teaching that I did on Monday linked below. I spoke in detail on faith, expecting more from your relationship with God and experiencing abundance. I also referenced 2 Kings:4 1-7.
"And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Matthew 21:22
"And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him." Hebrews 11:6
