Oh my gosh, last week was absolutely phenomenal and I didn’t want it to end! I mean, usually, I wish for a few more hours tacked onto Saturday or for a miracle to occur where suddenly time shifts and instead of 24 hours in a day we have 28 hours. Sadly, that’s still pending... :/

Back to my week… I kicked off the 5 Day Praying for Your Future Spouse Challenge on Monday. It was so powerful! I received countless messages from people who signed up. Honestly, I got a little flack for telling people about it. You know the standard, “Why do people talk about marriage so much, you should just be happy single” comments… You already KNOW that I had a response for that ;) -- If you missed the info, make sure you follow me on Facebook (Casey Sharperson) & Instagram (@CaseyCarea)! 

I also went to an AMAZING conference with my friend, Nikea Marie. While technically it was a purity conference, teens all the way to grandparents experienced God in such a tangible way! Legit, girls struggling with depression, self-mutilation, low self-esteem, suicide, and the list goes on and on had testimonies of deliverance. It was crazyyyy good. (I actually have NO pictures from the weekend #struggle)

Why am I telling you this? Well, it’s because no matter what we look like, everyone struggles with something. We’re all in need of grace and growth in some area(s). Lately, I’ve been talking to a lot of friends about relationships, singleness, marriage.

The way to gain wisdom and knowledge is to be exposed to wisdom and knowledge.

The moment I realized that I deserved more from a relationship is when I decided to figure out how to not end up with a counterfeit. A counterfeit is a person who seems to be everything on your “list,” but turns out to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing to knock you off your game and distract you from your purpose.
