Alone. [+ audio inside]

Usually, I’m super excited about teaching topics. This one… not so much. Mostly because God downloaded this topic about 5 minutes before he wanted me to share it. No notes… not my fave. [Heyyyy perfectionist syndrome!] Also, because the topic of silence, isolation, depression, and suicide is not a joyful one.

However, I know that this is the message that I was supposed to share at that moment, and I pray that those who need encouragement in this area find it.

Click the button below to listen. The teaching is about 15 minutes. Share it with someone who needs this message. TODAY.

Posted up in God's beautiful creation of Lake Minnetonka!

Here’s a quick overview of what I cover:

  • Yes, you’ll experience trials. No, they’re not all your fault.

  • Yes, you’ll feel isolated and alone. No, that’s not God’s will for your life.

  • Yes, the enemy is real and after your life. No, you don’t have to succumb to his weak and outdated tactics.

  • Yes, you’ll want to binge on food, people, television, and other distractions. But the truth is, you should focus on filling yourself up with truth to combat the lies.

  • Yes, you may be suffering now. BUT GOD wants you to know that he is a God of restoration.

Scriptures Referenced

“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 1 Corinthians 5:17

“He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.” Psalms 1:3

“Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” Genesis 2:18

‘He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

Hugs!
